Donation tables will be set up April 19th Sunday from 1 to 3 PM and Saturday May 19th from 10 AM to 12 PM come out and support the American Legion Auxiliary that help raise funds to support our veterans, active-duty military, and their families.  Donations are collected in exchange for red crepe paper poppies, often handcrafted by veterans. These funds help support VA hospitals, emergency assistance, and rehabilitation. 

Open to members and guests only. Come out for music bingo beginning at 4pm  Food menu available for purchase 1pm to 6pm

Open to the public come out and enjoy some pasta. Dinner includes Meatballs and/or Sausage salad bread - Dessert is always a surprise.  Menu is subject to change.  Take-Out is Available

Open to the Public Ifcyou would like to participate on this day meet at Legion at 9am. Every year the American Legion's place flags on veteran's grave site. 

Join us for a Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at the Veterans Monument on the corner of Route 94 and Route 9w at 10:30 AM. Parade step off is 2 PM from the New Windsor Post Office and will continue down RT 94 to New Windsor School. After parade Post 1796 will host gathering open to the public.

Dinner served prior to meeting that begins at 7pm

Congress designated the Friday before Memorigal Day as National Poppy Day. Wear a red poppy all day to pay tribute to all who died in service.
